Just another shot of one of the two sunflowers from August.

A busy telephoto shot in the direction of the Kaiserplatz, where the Dickswall ends. I think I took this at full 20x zoom and, of course, handheld – it still turned our remarkably sharp, something which never would have worked with the old camera.

The day after Christmas, I decided to give the flash of the new camera a
tryout and found some settings which looked surprisingly good on the flowers.

Last snow photo, from December 29th… some kids had built snow men sculptures in the backyard! :-)

Another backyard Rose – definitively, since a house wall can be seen in the background :-).

The Roses were still coming in mid-August!

This is the look back along the Dickswall to the pedestrian bridge I walked across in the previous photos. I apologize for the extremely slanty buildings in this photo – I had not gotten completely used to the different lens of the SX1 at that point, but on the other hand I don’t want to throw this shot away because of the somewhat weird look. The next ones are better and there will also be alternative colour versions on some of the photos!

I’m not sure where I took this photo, but it could be one of the backyard roses! :-)

This was on December 29th, one of the few snow photos that actually turned out well – a long-exposure shot from the middle of the night! Sadly, the snow vanished pretty quickly after that and has not returned yet. Instead we now have heavy storms at temperatures up to 13°C!
