Happy New Year! I’m sure I will be posting some fireworks later :-).

This is the fourth gallery of snow photos from the beginning of 2013, nothing really special but for the snow itself which was pretty exciting. We usually don’t get so much snow and having this winter wonderland for several weeks was great – but I wonder if this will happen again in 2014. There’s only one more smaller album to come. As usual, these are all re-processed versions of photos I had mostly posted before on the blog.

I took some photos around the christmas tree on December 22nd,
this is one of the very few shots that looked somewhat acceptable.

I’ll just keep on posting the cactus flowers from early November until the next batch opens :-).

Because it has been a snowless winter so far, here’s the third batch of snow photos from last January in a re-processed and re-mastered gallery. Some of these I had already posted on the blog, but not in these completely redone versions. Hopefully this will get the snow going soon – it’s already getting a little bit colder!

This is from early November, when the first batch of blossoms went absolutely nuts :-).

For the last #Caturday of the year – he looks so tense, doesn’t he? :-)

Here’s another batch of snow photos, this time from the second Snowmageddon we had back in mid-January this year. We still haven’t had the slightest bit of snow this winter, instead the temperature is almost in the double digits, so I hope the second part of the snow photos from almost a year ago will help to bring some of that white wonderland soon! I posted some of these photos on the blog before, but I reprocessed all of them again for this album.

The last one from the 26th – today, the blossom started to wilt, but these photos were the
best I had taken. But there are some more blossoms on the other cactus on the way!

I already shared the collected Spring & Summer Flowers of 2013 back in the height of Summer, but the Balcony Flowers 2013 were even more long-lasting – the first post was from July and the last from November in a total of 196 photos. I have now re-sorted all of them and put them in their own album, something which I held off until the whole collection was complete. Because I feel some colour is needed in this dark and grey season, here’s the full album.
