The City Walk continues, but now we’re not going over the pedestrian bridges, but under them along the Dickswall. This view is just after the right bridge on the ground – you can see two of the four highrises here and the other bridge in the far background. That’s where we’re gong next, to the Kaiserplatz crossing where the Dickswall ends and becomes the Leineweberstrasse. On the far right, you can see a corner of the shopping center building. These photos were shot on December 9th with the new camera, which I was still trying out at that point – there will be some strange angles coming up next because I had not yet quite mastered how to work with the different lens :-).

This is the same view of Mülheim’s Dickswall as in the earlier photo, but now shot at dusk – the perspective may be redundant, but I loved the mood here and so I included it. There’s also an alternate colour version with a nice blue sky and some lights showing up better available here.

Somewhere along last year, I stopped posting the Summer Flowers series because I had slacked off with the processing. But there were still some more of those non-balcony flower photos around, and now I have a small stash with the rest of them finally processed and ready to go. First up: a Tropaeolum alias Kapuzinerkresse blossom from the neighbour’s flowerpatch!
