Balcony Flowers #675

Another one of those small side streets connecting Mülheim’s Leineweber- and Schloßstrasse. This one is the very short Viktoriastrasse, which actually only runs between the two streets, but supposedly once continued up on the Viktoriaplatz – but all the houses there have adresses on the now renamed Synagogue Square. There are still a few very old shops here in this street, but there’s so little foot traffic that I wonder how they can survive.

Last weekend on the 24th, when we briefly had a bit of snow, it actually cleared up in the evening and this lovely slice of moon came out for a moment – long enough for me to take a series of exposures for some stacking work, resulting in an at least halfway clear photo.

Looking back here along Mülheim’s Leineweberstrasse, you can still see the pedestrian bridge and the highrises at the shopping center in the background. This was shot from approximately the same spot as the previous two photos.

From this perspective, it’s impossible to see the four blossoms at once, but it’s still a nice view.
