Ooops, we had almost the same photo yesterday, sometimes two
similar photos in a row just sneak into the proccessed pile.

Two days after the snow attack (which was absolutely NOTHING compared to what Northeast America is getting right now!) there’s not much left except a few pretty pictures.

From Mülheim’s Leineweberstrasse, you can actually look right up a small street called Bachstrasse and see the Petrikirche up on the church hill. There are some stairs (actually, a LOT!) left of the church so you can walk up there from where I’m standing in this photo.

The Summer Flowers have reached September now, but I’m only renaming the series when it reaches October. I only have processed the photos until the end of September at the moment, but there are still some nice ones left and maybe there are some more from October!

Today, the snow has mostly turned to slush, but it’s still mostly white outside. I’m very glad though that I took enough photos yesterday when it was still really snowy! When I took this one, it was still snowing heavily – that is not sensor dirt or grain! :-)

Looking down Mülheim’s Leineweberstrasse you can see a big controversy: the trees, which have been growing for two and a half decades, are supposedly now making the street too shady in the summer and there’s talk of getting rid of them. I hope I can still take some new photos of this street later this year with the trees in their summer costume – it would be terribly sad if this green oasis would be killed off like so many other trees in this city :-(.
