Balcony Flowers #702

Okay, here’s the deal: there are about 100-odd more Balcony Flowers to go, but to step up the posting I’m not going to write a detailed comment under each photo I post anymore – I’m running out of intelligent things to say and I’m sure by now everyone knows what those flowers are. If not, you can always ask in the comments! This is, of course, another pumpkin flower :-).

City Views #358: City Walk 53

I took this photo from the middle of the east pedestrian bridge looking back to the gap of houses and the stairs leading up to the street level where our home block is. I never thought about it before, but it is a strange bit of local geography! Of course, it looks vastly different in the summer when the trees are green – I’ll post a photo in late spring from this perspective again.
