City Views #466: The Castle XIII

A look into the old historic ruins of Mülheim’s Schloss Broich – note the cannonballs! This part has only been excavated again in the 1960s. Unfortunately I don’t have a shot of the ‘high castle’ above this entrance because this part is not open to the public all the time, but this shows the inner courtyard well.
