This is only a little corner of Mülheim’s historic inner city cemetry, which is basically a mid-sized park. It has existed in this location since the early 19th century and many of the famous Mülheim family dynasties like Thyssen or Stinnes have their graves here.

The Balcony Robin

I think this little Robin has claimed my balcony as its territory – yesterday, it was hopping around right in front of me chattering excitedly to itself. It kept a bit of a distance to me, but didn’t fly away!
