River Views #127: Autumn on the Ruhr 17

Here I’m on the former railway bridge that was in one of the previous photos – you can see that the new pathway has already been completed up to the actual bridge. Sometime this year the new bicycle and pedestrian path will be extended all the way over the bridge and further to the West, so this may be the last time I’ll be taking photos of those old railway tracks. Not that long ago they were in use as a freight line, although sometime between 2004 and 2005 the overhead electrical wires were removed.
