Mülheim’s Petrikirche, the protestant church in the inner city. There has always been a church in this location, but the present incarnation was built in 1872, bombed out in WWII and then rebuilt – although it took until 1957 to complete the tower. There are actually photos from 1956 and 1957 in our archives I have posted before that show the church without a tower and later the construction. The tower is, of course, not leaning – I just had a litle trouble with the wide angle of my camera here.
