The archway called Mausefalle, the Mousetrap in Mülheim’s historic inner city. I have no idea how the name came about except it’s a very fitting description. The name is actually only attached to the adjacent house, the path beneath the archway has the name Bogenstraße (literally Archway Street).

An attempt of a panorama of Mülheim’s historic inner city, from the Tersteegenhaus on the left to the Mausefalle on the right. I’ve tried to keep the distortions down to a minimum, but was not entirely successful. This was taken on January 15 when I was down at the Kaufhof to check on the demolition and I had the idea to try for a panorama for the first time. As soon as the scaffolding on the Tersteegenhaus has been removed, I will try to do this again with the Sony A65.
