City Views on Tour #5: The Journey to Berlin 5


Another landmark I’ve been looking out for as a child traveling to Berlin: the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Denkmal at Porta Westfalica, which is so huge that you can see it easily from the train route in the distance. Back in the 1980s I wasn’t able to get close photos of it, but the zoom of my bridge camera allowed me to get some really close shots this time – they didn’t come out completely razor sharp due to the dark weather, but I still tried to process a few of them just for fun.
