On the other side of Mülheim’s Schloßbrücke in a quiet arm of the river, the Great Crested Grebe was nesting again like it had almost every year before!

The young Blackbird turns out to be an adult one that is looking for nesting material – they were all over my balcony today collecting twigs and leaves! I’m not sure where they set up digs, but it must be somwhere around the balconies.

but yesterday I caught their Airbus A330 for the first time in ages!
