River Views #623: Summer on the Ruhr 56

The classic view of the ‘Three Graces’ statue – actually called ‘Lebensfreude’ (Joy for Life) on Mülheim’s West bridgehead of the Schloßbrücke – it was created by artist Heinrich Adolfs in 1963 shortly after the new bridge was built. In the background is the old water power station.
