Here’s the full Moon from May 10th – this is a bit enhanced with more contast to bring out the details better. As usual, this was taken only with a Canon Powershot SX30 at full zoom and stacked from about 20 single shots with Registax and slightly edited with Paint Shop.

Yesterday’s Moon was perhaps the most detailed I’ve ever captured. As usual, it took only my Canon Powershot SX30 at 35x Zoom to take this – although I did stack it from about 20 single exposures.

A glowing Moon? Not really, just a dirty window! Ordinarily, I would have thrown this Moon shot from yesterday away, but I discovered that I accidentially captured both the famous Lunar X and the Lunar V! The two formations are distinctly visible in the lower left and the middle of the image.
