Yesterday’s Moon was perhaps the most detailed I’ve ever captured. As usual, it took only my Canon Powershot SX30 at 35x Zoom to take this – although I did stack it from about 20 single exposures.

A glowing Moon? Not really, just a dirty window! Ordinarily, I would have thrown this Moon shot from yesterday away, but I discovered that I accidentially captured both the famous Lunar X and the Lunar V! The two formations are distinctly visible in the lower left and the middle of the image.
