Berlin’s Europa-Center, a shopping mall and a highrise that was once the most modern place when it was built in the 1960s. The highrise with the ten-meters-wide Mercedes star on top is still one of the highest buildings in West-Berlin. I loved the bow wrapped around the shopping mall!

Berlin’s Gedächtniskirche was almost destroyed in 1943 during a bombing raid and restored in its broken state as a memorial with a new church hall and bell tower constructed next to it. In Berlin slang it is also known as the Hollow Tooth!
