A great Blimp sideview from about a week ago.

I only noticed this helium balloon because I was looking for the blimp that was making its usual buzzing noise in the sky somewhere else. This balloon was, however, totally silent and actually really far away – but still close enough for my zoom lens to catch it!

It’s a little hazy, but I never got so close to one of these little Fokker Jets from KLM!

Yes, there are still proper airplanes with propellors flying around :-).

I completely forgot to post this – I made a timelapse with the help of my smartphone last month and it turned out very well. I used an app called LapseIt to take the photos and then put them together on the PC with VirtualDub. I’ve also made a second one, but I haven’t had time to upload it yet.

It’s nice to see that “our” Blimp has gotten a new sponsor! It’s an advert for a relaunch of a radio station and the Blimp was flying around a lot with it even until a couple of days ago.
