A proper photo of the Zeppelin NT flying over Mülheim and Essen this weekend – apparently it’s not the one that will remain permanently here, but just a test run and our “own” airship will arrive this Autumn and fly regularly next year!

Two years after the last flight of our local blimp Luftschiff Theo, which now resides on ground at our local airport, a new blimp showed up in the skies today! It’s a Zeppelin NT that is now stationed at the Essen/Mülheim airport and will fly regular sightseeing trips in place of its predecessor.

Happy New Year! For the first time in three years I was able to get a few fireworks photos here in Berlin, which I’m going to post over the next couple of days – and there’s even a short video over on Youtube!

One last look at Emirates Airways’ Airbus A380, this was really a lucky shot.

Emirates Airways’ Airbus A380 only starts very rarely in a Northeast direction above our heads from Düsseldorf and I’ve been never able to take a closeup photo of it – until this April!

The big Airbus A380 from Emirates Airways is still flying from Düsseldorf
and sometimes you can see it flying overhead.

This Antonov AN-2 is stationed at our local airport Essen-Mülheim and is probably the only Biplane in this region!
