A look down the street at about 4.30am on January 2nd… you can imagine what chaos ensued in the early morning! One snowflake and everything comes to a standstill around here.

This could have been the only snow we get, so I made the most of it and tried to take some nice photos. This shot is a bit fuzzy and grainy because it was still really dark.

I woke up sometime in the middle of last night and it was oddly bright outside – it had started snowing! We got maybe one centimeter of snow and it thawed away during the day, but I can’t remember the last time there was even one snowflake at the very beginning of a year. And course I took a couple of photos! This is actually from 4am or so, shot with high ISO, so it looks a little fuzzy.
