Happy Holidays, everyone! I shot this photo only a couple of days ago and I think it’s one of the best yet of this year’s Christmas tree. It’s not as warm as last year and not even raining, but we’re still far away from a white Christmas at 8°C! I hope everyone has a nice holiday – here in Germany, presents are actually given on the evening of the 24th, so Christmas actually begins today for us and December 25 and 26 are both holidays. The usual round of photos will follow later this evening!

Yes, I accidentially skipped the third Advent Sunday, but now it’s already the 4th and that means it’s Christmas in less than a week! So here’s this year’s Bokeh Christmas tree :-).

I almost forgot to post the weekly Christmas tree today – this is an improved photo I took yesterday with a tripod and to my surprise I actually got a little bit of starbursts from the lights!

I was absolutely determined to get a Christmas tree this year, especially after all what happened this year – and I got one in time for the first of Advent. I got it on Friday, put it up on Saturday and finished decorating it this afternoon, even without freezing because it was surprisingly warm for a change.

It is still sort of Christmas here in Germany, because the 25th and 26th are both holidays here. This is just a bit of fun with the seasonal decoration, I took this in case I ran out of photos :-).
