The hot weather is perfect for the strawberries :-).

It’s hot, hot, hot outside – 33°C at least, if not more. No computering until late night, I’m just throwing this on the blog quickly – this photo is about two weeks old and still counts as a springflower to me :-).

Okay, let’s end this red hot day with a red hot sunset, even if it’s from a cooler evening :-).

Usually I don’t post in the middle of the night, but it’s been so hot today that I didn’t want to use the computers too much. Now that it has cooled down a bit, I have two last photos for today – this one is an anaglyphic 3D view (red=left) of the big maple tree in front of our balconies. I’ve also made a crosseye-view version, but decided to put the anaglyph first because it’s easier to view for most people.

We relocated those munch-machines away from this plant into an off-balcony bush, but not before taking a lot of photos. So expect more of those guys in the next days – they’re probably some sort of fly larvae.

Summer is finally here, it’s over 30°C outside… don’t expect any major activity from me until it’s a bit cooled down :-). But I still have a lot of unposted stuff, so I’ll post a few photos now and then – like this rose.

Another party somewhere different on the balcony: aphids having a blast on a rose stem :-).

Munch munch munch munch… but it’s okay, they’re on a kind of green bush without flowers in one of the flowerboxes which we were originally going to throw out anyway, so bon appetit :-).
