ISS Flyover #8

Tonight was the last chance to see the ATV-4 before it docks to the ISS tomorrow, but it was not dark enough to see it. Even this ISS pass was hard to get – with 128 seconds exposure the sky got very bright, but at f/8 it still worked out as a blue sky version. It’s still a bit wobbly, but not as bad as the last one!

Painted Sunset #1

I’ve heard the term “paintography” on Google+, maybe this HDR of yesterday’s sunset is something in that direction. I’ve got a couple more of these with different processing for the next days.

The Louse

One of the aphids currently infesting the yellow rose bush.
We call them Blattläuse (=leaf louses) here in Germany :-).

Strawberry Flower

I don’t know if this really qualifies as a flower, but the end result is tasty!

Blimp #5

I don’t know why it keeps flying right over our heads, we must be in the geographical center of the city!
