City Views #42: Schloßstrasse V

In this photo, we’re finally walking up Mülheim’s Schloßstrasse while looking in the right direction. In the background you can already see the entrance of the shopping mall with its round glass tower and part of the highrises. We’re about two thirds up the pedestrian zone where the Schloßstrasse crosses the Viktoriastrasse. I took this photo back in 2003 mainly because of the very crazy building corner at the right, which is a fairly recent addition – it looks even more ridiculous in reality than on this photo!
