This little green-brownish fellow was cavoting on the balcony together with some other birds – it’s a Chiffchaff, a Zilpzalp! We’ve been hearing their very distinct singing with the three-note-rhythm for years and were only able to identify them about two years ago. And as far as I remember, this is the first time I snapped a photo of a Zilpzalp – they’re so small and inconspicuous that they’re very hard to catch!

I saw this car in a supermarket car park – I think it’s an old Opel Rekord and I could kick myself now that I didn’t take a photo from the front. But at least this one turned out nice thanks to some HDR help.
