City Views #161: Street Panorama III

A third test panorama from Mülheim’s Kämpchenstrasse, this time at the crossing with the Paul-Essers-Strasse. You can see the old house with the greek restaurant I showed a couple of posts ago at the far right and some of the houses from the last panorama. The big highrise buildings are right behind me here.

Hoverfly Premiere

First hoverfly sighting on the year – I couldn’t catch the giant bumblebees with the camera,
but this one obliged me with a little rest in the sun a couple of days ago.

No spring weather here anymore today, but here’s one photo that really looks like spring!

City Views #160: Street Panorama II

Another panorama from Mülheim’s Kämpchenstrasse – these are almost all old houses from the early 1900s, except of course the highrise buildings in the background, which look much smaller than they really are due to the perspective. Apart from the highrises, in which place the old army barracks were standing until 1975, this corner of the city has not changed in over a hundred years.

Springflowers #46

It’s officialy spring today and the weather plays along – sunny, blue skies and relatively warm.
This blossom is from the 11th, but could have been taken today!

City Views #159: Street Panorama I

Let’s try a few wide street shots next – this one is a little bent around the edges, but still looks relatively okay. This is part of Mülheim’s Kämpchenstrasse, some of these houses might look familiar because I had already shared a few photos of them before.

Cactusflower 2014 #25

A white double feature, this doesn’t happen very often on this cactus!
