Something less urban – and less spectacular – from Mülheim’s Kaiserstrasse. Yes, there’s a little Asian supermarket and a pizzeria downstairs in this building :-).

Because the first ladybugs showed up these days, I went through all the blog posts of last year again and sorted out everything creepy-crawly, winged or six-to-eight-legged. And surprisingly, there was a lot – the new camera really worked great with the macro photography and there are a lot of photos which I never was able to take before! All of them are now in a new dedicated gallery, but I didn’t bother with detailed descriptions because these speak pretty much for themselves.

And here’s one of the first ladybugs of the season.

I’m not even going to attempt to count them, but that was only part of the swarm!

Some more forsythias, because they’re really everywhere right now :-).

And now more houses from Mülheim, call it the sequel of the architecture series! This house is fairly new, one of the last ones built around here in the immediate neighbourhood sometime in the early 1980s.

There was a lot of talking going up there, as if there was some argument about a change of direction!

Yep, it’s pretty crazy in cactus flower land at the moment :-).

Back to the real flowers – the forsythias are going crazy everywhere at the moment!

Okay, it’s not really a flower, more a leaf, but still – it’s spring and it’s starting to grow :-).
