What you can’t see in this photo is that just to the left was another much smaller juvenile Green Woodpecker that got actually fed by his parent seen here. I didn’t get a photo of that, but a video which I’ll be posting as the last entry of the series later!

Red Buzzer
Sometimes something unusual comes along in the sky, like this vintage red biplane that made a very unfamiliar noise. It’s actually a CASA 1.131E, a spanish version of the Bücker BÜ-131, of which so many were produced since the mid-1930s that lots of them are still around in airworthy condition.
