Balcony Flowers 2015 #301-306

I’m trying something different to cope with the amount of photos I’ve still got to post – from now on, the Balcony Flowers will come in six-packs twice a day for a while. This has the disadvantage that Facebook and Twitter are getting only the first image of each batch, but I’m uploading native galleries to Google+, which will get the full versions. Here on the blog you can click on the thumbnails and when the photo is enlarged, you can switch directly back and forth between the images with the right and left cursor keys. Today’s stars are a yellow rose, some unidentified wildflowers, an eggplant blossom, cornflowers and pumpkin flowers!

I’m not sure what this is, but it was expertly navigating around the raindrops :-).

Turtledove

I’m not completely sure if this is really a Turtledove or Mourning Dove, but lately we’ve seen some of these around the backyard in addition to the bigger Wood Pigeons.

We found something behind the Geraniums – each year we wonder
why there are no cucumbers and then we discover these monsters :-)
