One more powerful German steam locomotive in Berlin’s Museum of Technology: The BR 52 series was first made during the second world war, but was built until the early 1950s and in use all over Europe until the late 1970s.

This bright red beast is the German E01, built in 1938 as one of the most powerful electric locomotives of its time. Only four of them were made and one of the two surviving is this one in Berlin’s Museum of Technology.

One of the most powerful German steam locomotives in Berlin’s Museum of Technology: the BR01.10 was made in the late 1930s for fast passenger train service and some were in use after the war until 1975. At least ten of them including this one survive until today.
