I love how the left wing throws a shadow on the fuselage here!

Small Stuff


The big jets only come when the wind blows from the East, but the small planes from our local airport are always around. This Cessna 152 can often be seen in the air over Mülheim and Essen, it belongs to a flight school affiliated with Air Berlin which has its headquarters here.

Beijing Bound


This is also an Airbus A330, but it went the other way to China. I’ve taken photos of Air China’s jets before, but I seldom got the logo on the tail as clearly as on this one.

This A330 from Air Berlin was going to Los Angeles on one of the longest flights from Düsseldorf.

Dreamliner Summer Edition


Today was planespotting weather and I got some nice shots with the new camera – among them once again ANA’s Boeing 787, which is still flying daily from Tokio to Düsseldorf and back.
