The Tinybus
I think this is an Airbus A318 – I love those little ones, they look like toy airplanes in the sky :-).

Look who visited our city two weeks ago – I didn’t even know the JU-52 was coming and I think it flew only one time from the local airport, so I only got a sort of grainy photo this time.

We’re used to the occasional hot-air balloon flying over the city, but this is the first time we saw a helium gas balloon! The writing on it says Fribourg Freiburg Challenge which must have to do something with the website FRChallenge.ch, but I’m not sure what’s it all about or why this balloon was flying around here since my French is not good enough to understand the site.

I finally managed to catch Lufthansa’s A340 today, but it’s still a little blurry. This is the only four-engine jet currently starting and landing in Düsseldorf, although Emirates Airways will start using the A380 this Summer – which we probably won’t be able to see from our location, because Emirates does not take the North route anymore on the way to Dubai.

We get things of all sorts in the sky around here, from the biggest jumbo jet to the smallest single-engine plane – I’ve seen this white Piper SuperCub before, but it’s always nice to see something else than the usual small Cessnas and more advanced Pipers from the small aircraft department!

An even closer look at Air China’s Airbus A330 from a couple of days ago – this plane goes directly from Düsseldorf to Beijing and is one of the biggest jets around here.

The plane I actually wanted to take a photo of: ANA’s Boeing 787 again!
It’s actually the exact same machine I took a photo of two days before.

While I was waiting for the Dreamliner again, I actually caught another plane first: Air China’s huge Airbus A330! I love that red logo on the tail and I never noticed it on the winglets before.
