Dreamliner Sunset II

I’ve never seen ANA’s Boeing 787 pull so quickly to the east like yesterday –
after the first photo, I got this belly shot of the Dreamliner.

Dreamliner Sunset

ANA’s Boeing 787 was a bit late today, but the result was a plane bathed in the golden setting sun!

Dreaming all the way to Tokyo

First time I caught ANA’s Boeing 787 with the new camera, and in wonderful evening sun too.

DUS – DME

Yes, occasionally I take photos of something else than flowers :-).
You can say what you want about Aeroflot, but their livery looks great.

Triple Parallel II

One more photo of the three planes flying together – I’m sure those were not commercial jets, because those would have been visible at that magnification. Very mysterious!

Triple Parallel

So this formation flew over earlier today… I’ve never seen something like this before and they didn’t show up on Flightradar24 – I wonder what those planes were?

DUS – JFK

I caught the first “big” jet with the new camera today – Air Berlin’s A330 to New York. It would have looked better though if I hadn’t set the camera to Auto-ISO accidentially, making some heavy filtering necessary to make it look acceptable. Oh well, next time it’ll work out better!

Goldentail

I’m still practicing catching planes with the new camera… it’s not easy with the more powerful zoom, but sometimes it works. Today I saw this A319 “Babybus” from British Airways with the yellow-golden Dove livery on the tail that was done for the 2012 Olympics – for the first time!
