Picking up where I left the series back in #251, this is again Mülheim’s Stadthalle, but seen from the Schloßbrücke this time. But that’s not the direction we’re going, because last week I took a long walk further South to the Wasserbahnhof on a route that took me first to the other side of the river. These photos are an experiment: I shot almost everything in RAW with the Sony Alpha 65 and then developed them as HDRs to get nicer colours. This worked even better than taking three separate exparate exposures, but cost a lot of filespace, so I can’t do this all of the time.

I discovered that I had uploaded, but never posted a whole bunch of videos from earlier this year I shot on the riverfront. So here’s the first one with the Canada Geese and its brood from May 22! If the self-hosted video in this post does not work properly for some reason, go to the Youtube video below, but the one hosted on my own webspace has a slightly better quality because it was not re-encoded once more. I’d still appreciate a Like on the Youtube video and following my Youtube Channel is a good idea too, since I sometimes post videos there a couple of hours before I publish them here!

The view from Mülheim’s Schloßbrücke over to the old railway bridge. I’ve just read today that the railway bridge has been closed starting this week so the new pedestrian and bicycle path can be extended over it. I don’t know yet how long this will take, but I’m glad the renovations have finally started and I’ve been up there such a lot of times this year that I don’t mind waiting.
