Again just playing around with the SX1 – those are almost the last leaves on the streetside Rowan! Last year at this time it was still full of berries, this year the blackbirds, great tits and finches have picked it completely clean, as you can see in the background.

This is what I will call the first presentable test photo from the Canon Powershot SX1 – and because it was so colourless today outside, I decided to go all the way and make it a HDR to bring the autumn colours out a bit more. This is the crisp, sharp look that I was really missing with the S5!
