City Views #86: Leineweberstrasse VI


Yesterday’s photo was originally supposed to be the last one of Mülheim’s Leineweberstrasse and in some sense it was, because this is the view of one of the side streets, the Kohlenkamp with the church hill and the Petrikirche prominently in the background. The church may be mostly hidden, but there are a few places where it isn’t obstructed by other buildings in the inner city.

The Duck on the Roadside


I saw this lovely old Citroen 2CV parking on the other side of the road and I just had to take a photo of it. The title of this post comes from the German moniker of the Deux Cheveaux – we call it Die Ente, The Duck!
