Springflowers #5
Cityviews #123: Architecture XI
Some more architectural detail from a nearby house. It looks like there once was something in the middle of this “shield”, but it seems to have been removed for some reason. The rest is, however, nicely preserved!

Springflowers #4
I suppose it could be me and my Springflowers joke that made the temperature climb to almost 12°C today, but here are some more crocuses just in case we can skip winter and just go from autumn to spring!

No Entry for Giants
Just for fun… the entrance of the aforementioned supermarket car park, height-restricted so it doesn’t become a lorry park at night. Must have been quite a bang sometime last week when this happened! The entrance at the other side also looks a bit banged up, someone seems to have been really determined :-).

Cruising
Remember when I took a photo of that seagull in the supermarket car park? Yesterday there were a couple of them circling overhead, but they were so fast that this was the only decent photo I could manage. They’re usually further away on the river, there must be something attracting them around here.

A front yard full of early crocuses… and leftover rowanberries. The birds are really messy eaters!

Rowan around the Corner
There are a couple of other rowan trees in our neighbourhood, and this one is still full of birdfood :-).

City Views #122: Architecture X
I’ve already shown this corner house from several different perspectives – this is a very old row of houses at least from the early 1900s. There has been a greek restaurant on the street level for a long time and the house was actually renovated sometime in the last ten years and looks very good.
