I just love the way the Anemones unfold their center garden :-).

Another unposted shot that ties in neatly with yesterday’s photo: you can see the handrail of the “way up” here on the left of the shopping center entrance, where I was standing when I took the other photo. The tunnel was actually built only in the mid-1980s, I can still remember when there were streetlights for the pedestrians and even the tramway used to go through there.

More Magnolias from mid-April.

Yet another Anemone shot.

I saw this neat looking bug sitting upside down below a leaf of the orange lilies.
I just found out that it’s a Wasp Beetle / Widderbock (Clytus arietis)!

A while ago I said that there would be more Magnolias – and here they are, from mid-April.

There will be Roses! Actually, there are already a lot of Roses,
but I’ll show these later along the photostream :-).

Now I really have to put the River Views series on a bit of a hiatus until I have some more photos ready, but there is still a lot of unposted stuff from the City Views around. This was taken right next to the west entrance of our local shopping mall and here you can see how the Eppinghofer Straße comes through the tunnel on the left below the pedestrian zone on top of it and merges into the Kaiserplatz. This little-used walkway goes from the Kurt-Schumacher-Platz above (also known as the Pflasterstrand) down to the area of the Kaiserplatz. Most people go through the shopping mall and use the escalators or elevators between the basement and the pedestrian zone level, though.

than usual because the originals were looking somewhat dull.
