Cactus Flower 2014-II #1


Guess what’s blooming after a six-month hiatus? Yes, the Schlumbergera cactus plants are at it again, both our smaller and bigger ones have started to produce blossoms again. They last bloomed in late April, and before they on from late October until almost after Christmas, so they’re both on time !

City Views #250: Inner City Demolition 3


Forward to December 13th, 2007 – by now, most of the middle building was gone, but the demolition had taken so long that they were already working until late in the evenings. I shot this photo at about 6pm and you can still see the city logo – the mirrored M – on the side of the right building.
