Here’s a Cactus Flower from yesterday, because I haven’t had time to take new photos today. This is the front view of one of the blossoms on the bigger cactus plant. Currently there are three of them open at the same time, I hope I can get them into one shot somehow!

City Views #255: Inner City Demolition #8


This is still from December 29th, 2007 – the demolition of the remaining Sparkasse bank building on Mülheim’s Viktoriaplatz was not yet finished. Here you can see how close the remains of the building were standing next to the street, that’s the reason they had to be dismantled almost brick by brick.
