Moonstack #51


Yesterday’s half moon – I went back to the old method of using the normal resolution because an attempt with the digital zoom was just too blurry. But I upped the number of stacked images to 20 and that seems to have decreased the noise dramatically although I used a lot of wavelet sharpening on this.

Tree’s Up 2014 – Bokeh Edition


Our poor Christmas tree had a rough time in the last few days – it was so stormy that it fell over a couple of times and it spent a night lying on the balcony floor for safety, but there was no damage. Because of the weather I haven’t been able to get the “official” tree portrait yet, so for the third Advent Sunday it’s the Bokehmas tree instead!
