Balcony Flowers 2015 #1

Well, it was bound to happen – now the Balcony Flowers from last year are overlapping with this year’s photos! Actually, this is kind of cheating because this Rose didn’t really grow on our balcony, but when we saw them in one of our local supermarkets we just couldn’t resist. The colour is a bright orange and hard to photograph, but depending on the light I might get some better photos of it soon.

One of the towers of Cologne Cathedral, the Kölner Dom – note the scaffolding on the side. There’s an old joke that says you can’t take a picture of the cathedral without some sort of construction equipment in it.
