Moonstack #76
The Moon from March 3rd, the last one we’ve seen until today due to the lousy weather. I was still able to coax some details out of this, but it gets more difficult without crater shadows!

The last panorama in this mini-series shows something new for a change – this is the “school district” only one block east of the Kämpchenstrasse. I’ve last been there shortly after the huge summer storm, but I’m happy to report that all of the trees were still standing in November when I took this panorama. The brick building on the far left is actually the police headquarters, the other left one behind the tree is the Otto-Pankok-Gymnasium (grade 5-12) and the Realschule (grade 5-10) is at the right, with its characteristic tower hidden behind the main building – but you can see the statue with the horses I showed in an earlier photo. There’s also an alternative colour version of this photo again.

We were clouded out on March 1, but here’s the Moon from two days ago. It gets more difficult to get details the fuller the Moon gets, but this stack from about 20 images worked quite well.

This is a familiar corner which I’ve never actually photographed from this perspective – the intersection of Mülheim’s Kämpchenstrasse and Oberstrasse. Almost all of the houses have appeared in previous photos, but never together in this way. As usual, I also processed an alternative colour version of this photo again.
