The Maple tree in front of our balcony is casting mighty shadows these days!

It’s time to revive the River Views because at the end of February, I had a brief chance to take some photos at the riverfront again and I also have a series of archive photos almost ready. This panorama was taken in a spot about halfway between Mülheim’s Wasserbahnhof and Schlossbrücke and I had some company from ducks, coots and even geese, which will, of course, feature later in this small series.

The trees are in a Spring mood already – and this is from two weeks ago!

Easter is in two weeks and the flowers are already prepared!

I have to admit that this is not a really good photo of Mülheim’s City Hall Tower because of all the overhead wires in the way, but I wanted to include it anyway. I’ll probably be able to take some better photos of the city hall sometime later this year, this is just here to cap off the current series because for the next photos we’re finally going down to the river and have a look around the waterfront.

I should start to post these because they’re getting rapidly out of date! I wanted to switch the Winter tree shots over to colour and I already have quite a few of them ready. We’re not yet at the stage when the trees are actually getting green, but I just wanted to see if I can get some good colour out of them nevertheless. This is the birch on the other side of the backyard across from our balconies.
