City Views #33: Fachwerkhaus II
I can’t even remember exactly where I took this photo in 2004, but it’s another Fachwerkhaus or half-timber house somewhere between the old inner city of Mülheim and the river. I suspect that this one was extensively renovated, the roof seems to be completely new and there’s even a garage tacked on to the left.

After yesterday’s admittedly unflattering view of Mülheim, here’s one of the old Fachwerkhäuser (half-timber houses). This one is not standing directly in the old city, but about halfway from there west to the river.

The Busy Eggplant
Back in August, the eggplant really went crazy. These have now all been picked and eaten, but now, almost four weeks later, there’s another batch growing. And all in this relatively small pot!
