That’s where the hall floor used to be – after the demolition there was only a big pile of rather impressive rubble left. I didn’t breathe in too much, the rubble really smelled bad and there were some rumours that the hall was full of asbestos. The sidewalks around the hall were always dusty during the weeks it was torn down!

The whole scope of destruction from the rear. You can still see some of the seating on the top right, but the rest of the interior was pretty much destroyed by then. Hard to imagine that I used to have sports class where all the rubble was lying!
