State of the Art
Well, state of the art in 1995 anyway – it’s the processor from my first PC! One thing hasn’t changed in almost twenty years: those Windows logos are still plastered everywhere :-).

I actually did some tree photography this summer and autumn, but for some reason I got so behind with processing that I didn’t post as much of it as I wanted. But here’s a photo of our favourite maple tree from below that I just took this afternoon!

A cucumber blossom for a change! And just a reminder that those Balcony Flower photos are all still from July – you can always check the actual date a photo was taken by looking at the filename.

Now we come to the exciting bit of the demolition on Mülheim’s Viktoriaplatz. The next few photos were taken on the early evening of January 10th, 2008 when the work had to be halted – a big chunk of wall threatened to fall onto the adjacent house and was barely stopped by the clamp of the excavator! You can still see the big machine holding the chunk here – the scaffolding was already in danger of collapsing and there was actually some damage to the other house. But that’s not half of the trouble that started on this day – to be continued in the next photo :-).
