Cloudscapes #52

The beginning of the right pedestrian bridge over Mülheim’s Dickswall. This one doesn’t lead directly to the shopping center, but to the area around the highrise buildings, which in turn leads to the mall, the postoffice and the tram, bus and railway station. The houses here are not leaning – that’s a side effect of the wide-angle lens of my new camera, which I have not quite mastered yet.

At least one of the photos of the Bluetit turned out not to be blurry – everything was moving! The camera moved (no time to set up the tripod!), the birdfeeder moved and the bird itself moved.

A couple of dozen meters further West on the Muhrenkamp, there’s a gap in the houses with stairs leading down to the Dickswall, which you can either go down to or go across the pedestrian bridge. This small street is called the Bocksberg and it has been here long before the highrises and the shopping mall were built, but earlier there was just a steep dirt road here and no stairs at all.
