City Views #36: Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse

Looking up the Friederich-Ebert-Strasse in Mülheim in direction of the city hall. Behind me in this photo is the Leineweberstrasse and the Berliner Platz, right ahead is the city hall with the now empty Kaufhof department store on the left and the Schloßstrasse pedestrian zone to the right. And that’s where we’re going in the next photos of the series. This photo is from 2004 and it looks a bit different here today, because there’s now the tramway running through the street again which used to go around the Kaufhof back then.
