Red-Throated Dinner Guest

The Robins are much less shy than the other small birds visiting the feeder – they
don’t fly away at the first sign of movement and only like to keep an eye on you.

City Views #307: City Walk 2

At the North end of Mülheim’s Eduardstrasse is just a wall and beyond is almost the inner city. From this point you can already see all four of the highrise buildings with the left one practically on top of the shopping center. To go there, the best way from here is first going left into the Muhrenkamp, the direction this photo was taken.

I had no idea there were still some flash night shots, so here’s another Zinnia!

This little featherball of a Robin had a bit of lunchh at the feeder,
but when it spotted me it just hopped down and looked at me curiously!

City Views #306: City Walk 1

This is home street – the lower part of Mülheim’s Eduardstrasse. To the left is the school, to the right the block of houses where we live in. In the last couple of photos, we’ve always gone south and uphill from here, but when I got the new camera in late November I also took a bunch of new photos during one of our grocery shopping trips into the inner city, where I will take the series now. This photo is actually somewhat blurry because I took it while walking across the street with a car already rounding the corner, but I think I managed to save it in processing. The next photos will be much sharper, though!
